Account issues

Login as a User

To login as a user, visit http://upspoints.uoftpharmacy.com
The username is the email that you have signed up for listserv with.
IMPORTANT: Even if you forward your email, it's still the email you signed up for listserv with. For example: you signed up for listserv with the email xxx@utoronto.ca but is forwarding your utor to your gmail, your username is STILL xxx@utoronto.ca
If you decide to change the email you subscribe to listserv with half way through the year, AFTER the email announcing the UPS points database, your username is STILL the email you subscribed with the first time around. You need to contact the webmaster to change your username!

It is the email address you first signed up for listserv with. It should be the same as your username

I'm not on the listserv

If you are not on the listserv, you need to email or contact the webmaster with your

  • Full name
  • Email
  • Class
  • Desired email address and username (optional)

to have your name added in the points database.
Otherwise, you do not exist in our eyes

If you are opposed to receiving listserv, please say so in the email and your email will not be added to the listserv. Otherwise, by emailing the webmaster, you will be added to the listserv

Incorrect Info/Change of Info

I'm no longer in the class I started out with

  1. Log in
  2. Click on Change My Info
  3. Change your class. Make sure it is in the format of xTx

I'd like to add another name I go by

Note: It is actually very important for you to include your common name as well as legal name since all academic information is provided to the UPS Secretary in your legal name To change your name, please email the UPS Secretary

I'd like to change my email

The email is used for password recovery purposes. To change it, visit "change my info" after logging in, and update your email address.

The email in my username is incorrect/I'd like to change it

Please email the UPS Webmaster

I emailed the webmaster a second/minute/hour/day ago, why awas there no response?

There are several possibilities:

  • The webmaster is napping/sleeping/eating/reading a book/etc
  • The webmaster has an exam coming up and is frantically cramming
  • The webmaster has decided to do homework (this almost never happens)
  • The webmaster decided to become a hermit
  • Other miscellaneous reasons

Please allow approximately 72 hours turn around time for your account to be created/information to be changed.
Once your account is created, the secretary still has to input your points.

Points Issues

Why does my point count not match the activities I've participated in?

There are many factors that may contribute to this discrepancy:

  • The points you see are entered by the UPS Secretary by hand. To do this, the person in charge of the event you attended would have to email a list of participants and corresponding points to the secretary. If the organizer delays this email, the secretary will not be able to update the points
  • The UPS secretary is swamped by exams/other activities
  • The events you attended are from more than one school year ago and the organizer just never submitted the points. Unfortunately, nothing can be done since points tracking is limited to one past school year for various reasons
  • You didn't write your name in the sign-in sheet during the event

Please note, point values for some social events, such as Boat Cruise and Semi, were changed from 1 point to 2 points effective 2009-10, and the change does not retroactively apply.

One of the events on my points page is incorrect/I've never been to it/is spelled horribly wrong

  • name
  • Email
  • Class
  • Event name
